When it comes to dairy products, many people experience digestive discomfort. But is it always lactose intolerance? For those with conditions like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), the answer isn't always...
Bactose may not work for individuals with IBS, Crohn’s, or Celiac Disease, as the symptoms associated with these conditions are mainly triggered by dairy proteins like casein and whey—independently from lactose.
A dairy allergy is an immune system response to proteins in milk (like casein or whey), causing potentially severe allergic reactions such as hives, swelling, or anaphylaxis. Lactose intolerance, on the other hand, is a digestive issue caused by a lack of the enzyme lactase, leading to symptoms like bloating, gas, and diarrhea after consuming dairy. DO NOT USE Bactose if you have a dairy allergy.
Bactose doesn't contain Lactase enzymes, it produces them like little factories in your gut working 24/7 to break down the sugar in dairy, Lactose. Taken for 7 days, Bactose will populate your gut where it works, on day 8 you can enjoy diary again!
Bactose helps with lactose, not dairy protein. How can you tell the difference? 1) Can't tolerate lactose-free milk? It's likely protein-related 2) Lactase enzymes don't really help? proteins may be the culprit. Always consult with a Doctor first.
If lactase enzymes don't really work for you, then Bactose typically will not work well for you. It's possible you may have issues with lactose but some people may also have sensitivity to the proteins in dairy, Bactose will not help with proteins.
After taking Bactose for 7 days, on day 8 you can enjoy dairy again. As long as one takes Bactose monthly, there is no need to abstain from dairy during each subsequent 7 day recharge.
In the first 7 days, continue lactase pills or avoid lactose.
